Logging deck time

We love to spend time on our deck. Just hangout, blowing bubbles or eating supper. Albion Grandma & Grandpa gave this Harper sized bench to Harper for Chrismas and she loves to sit on it. Looking at her it is hard to believe that she is only 3.5 years old.

Dairy Fun Day

Today we went to Dairy Fun Day at Prairieland Dairy near Firth. Harper got her face painted and played in a corn box - which she loved. We also rode a trolley (or tractor as Harper puts it) around the dairy farm. They told us all about how the farm works. They have over 1400 milking cow and each one is milked 3 times a day. They produce about 6 gallons of milk each. They served lunch there but the line was way to long so we headed to Hickman for lunch and FIREWORKS! It's hard to believe that the 4th of July is less then a week away.

Getting ready for the 4th

The 4th of July is only a few weeks away and Matt and Harper are already getting ready. She loves to go out the driveway and 'light' things off. Matt got her some kid friends sparklers (or at least as kid friendly as they can get) and she loves them. Cousin Craig was over last week and they started lighting thing off. They of course had to add in the ever so popular smoke bomb -which Harper wasn't so sure of at first but got the hang of it.
